Fall 2015 Book Fair Hours

Monday, November 16
th – Friday, November 20th

Shopping Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

*Special Evening Hours: Tuesday, November 17th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

(*Please enter on the left through the side library door under the large oak tree for evening hours.)

This year we will have to collect sales tax of 8% on all purchases. Please be sure to keep this in mind when you send money for the book fair. Most books cost at least $5.00 so you your child would need $5.40 to purchase a book. We will also not be accepting checks, only cash or credit/debit card.

During this book fair, we are going to be running a special “bookraising”contest. We will be collecting books to give to our students who were affected by the flood. You can either purchase a book from the book fair, donate money to go towards purchasing a book, or bring in a new or like-new book. For each donation, students will be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate to Sweet Frogs. We will also still have Classroom Wish Lists available for each homeroom. This is the perfect way to say thank you to your child’s teacher and say Merry Christmas!

If you are unable to attend the Fair in person, we invite you to visit our online Book Fair at Our online Fair is available from Sunday, November 1st to Friday, November 20th. All books ordered online will be delivered to the school before Winter Break.

Art Ambassador Visits Millwood

Ibiyinka Olufemi Alao, art ambassador for Nigeria to the United Nations, came to visit Millwood this past Thursday. He brought his wonderful artwork to show students during his two assemblies. He also visited the fourth grade art class to explain the inspirations behind his art and show students how to improve their own art. Ibiyinka will be visiting other schools in the area over the next week.
